Why do I need gutters?
They may not seem like much. Extra things hanging around to be cleaned, painted, and maintained. But they actually serve a very important purpose.
Gutters prevent damaging water from running across windows and doors and down the sides of your house. They also channel water away from your foundation, reducing the chance for costly repairs due to erosion.

Avoid costly repairs,Ok, I need gutter, but what size?
5 inch Gutter
6 inch Gutter
Usually, a K-style gutter that measures five inches front to back at the widest point (usually across the top or gutter lip) is called a five-inch gutter. However, this can also denote any rectangular or half-round gutter design. The most common gutter in North America, a five-inch K-style gutter, has a rainwater capacity of 1.2 gallons per linear foot.
Adding just one inch to the width of a gutter adds 50% to the capacity!
A six-inch K-style gutter holds 1.8 gallons of rainwater. Interestingly, one popular gutter/gutter cover combination product has a gutter trough width of only three inches and has holds less than 1/3 of the volume of a standard five-inch (0.39 gallons vs. 1.20 gallons).
What is Seamless Gutter?
Seamless gutter is run from a gutter-bending machine. High gauge aluminum is fed through this machine creating a K-Style gutter. It is measured beforehand to receive an exact fit to your house. Gutters with seams are connected in various locations around your home and caulked to prevent water from leaking. Over time this caulk deteriorates and leaks start to occur. By installing seamless gutters you will never have any problems with leaks in seams because they don't exist. This type of gutter is cheaper and more efficient. RainAway Inc. installs beautiful, seamless gutters in numerous colors to match your home's color scheme.
